We're seeking a motivated **Warehouse & Storefront Associate** to join our team during our peak season from **October 1st to December 15th** (and possibly extending to December 20th).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Provide excellent customer service in our retail store.
- Load and unload courier and freight vehicles as needed.
- Support the Warehouse Team with accurate inventory counts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipments.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and unloading trucks.
- Adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Develop a deep understanding of Big Star Lights’ products.
- Assist with customer support, sales, payments, and order pickups in the storefront.
- Contribute to general cleanliness and organization in the storefront and warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and promptly report incidents and risks.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs safely and comfortably.
- Exceptional organizational skills and cleanliness.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
- At least one year of customer service experience (preferred).
- Experience in warehouse or shipping operations (preferred).

**Salary**: $26 per hour

**Expected Start Date**: As soon as possible

**Work Location**: In-person based at Unit 161- 3239 No 6 Road, Richmond, BC, V6V1P6

**Work Schedule**:
**Pre-Season (September)**:

- Monday - Friday : 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

**Peak Season (from October onwards to December)**:

- Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm; with 9:30 am - 6:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
