As a Hearing Instrument Specialist at Rediscover Hearing Clinic, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of our clients by providing expert guidance and support in selecting, fitting, and maintaining hearing instruments. You will work closely with individuals to understand their unique hearing needs, conduct thorough assessments, and recommend appropriate hearing solutions tailored to their lifestyle and preferences. Your passion for helping others, combined with your technical expertise, will enable you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with hearing loss.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform comprehensive hearing assessments using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Consult with clients to understand their hearing concerns and lifestyle requirements.
- Recommend and fit hearing instruments based on individual needs and preferences.
- Provide ongoing support, including adjustments, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hearing aids.
- Educate clients on proper hearing aid use, care, and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with audiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in hearing aid technology and industry trends.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hearing instrument fitting and dispensing.
- Proficiency in conducting audiometric evaluations and interpreting results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

esponsibilities:

- Perform instrument maintenance, calibration, and repairs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument issues
- Ensure instruments are functioning properly and meet quality standards
- Assist with the installation and setup of new instruments
- Maintain accurate records of instrument maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

**Skills**:

- Proficient in medical terminology
- Experience working with pediatric instruments is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

**Salary**: $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
