Project Technician

**What you’ll be doing**:
Join the Ashtead Technology team in Halifax, Canada We are looking for a Project Technician to join our Asset Integrity team - you will focus on the delivery of offshore inspection projects, support the continuous improvement of our existing technology, test our equipment in preparation for hire or sale and help to research new technologies for possible adoption.
Day to day you will also represent Ashtead Technology at client meetings, ensure project schedules are maintained, purchase parts/materials for projects and prepare documentation.
You will be based onshore but there will also be opportunity to go Offshore, around 100 days per year. Being comfortable with travel is a must

- You will hold a qualification in Electronics/Mechatronics/Engineering Systems
- You will have previous experience in a client facing role, preferably in a subsea environment.
- You enjoy problem solving
- You have excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
