Organizational Change Management Associate

The Work:

- Develop and implement organization-wide change management procedures to support organizational changes
- Execute change management processes and plans related to communications, training, and sustainability in support of business objectives
- Implement tools to assist employees with quickly and efficiently adopting changes associated with new projects, initiatives, systems, policies and procedures
- Support efforts to communicate changes by working with the Communications Team to create and execute communication plans
- Develop training programs, documentation and resources to help leaders implement various change management practices to facilitate adoption seamless transition for employees
- Conduct studies and analyses to assess change impact and readiness for employees (i.e. facilitate change impact workshops to identify change impacts to the business)
- Develop customized and scaled strategy for managing the people side of the change initiative to reduce change impact on employees
- Identify and mitigate any potential risk associated with the proposed changes
- Identify and manage interior or exterior resistance to proposed changes
- Assist leaders in defining employee roles and responsibilities after the implementation of changes
- Identify and report issues that arise as a result of implementing various changes within the organization
- Create relevant metrics to measure the success of an implemented change
- Develop and implement sustainment plans
- Develop the business understanding of the role of change management
- Provide change and resiliency training to employees

The skills
- Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and facilitate the execution of change management strategies to support the people side of business transformations
- Demonstrated leadership, influence, communication, presentation, facilitation, and writing skills with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organization
- Excellent organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated planning and coordinating skills to manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders consecutively
- Data oriented, attention to detail and excellent computer skills with a superior knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- A working style characterized by a client-focused approach with an innovation mindset

The Education
- A relevant university degree or 3 years related work experience
- Change Management professional certification or designation an asset
- Strong knowledge of organizational change management principles and methodologies, project management, process improvement, communications, business analysis, and software development methodologies
