**DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL**

**Chatham, Ontario**

Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn for their own growth and development

**Requirements**:

- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Documentation of COVID-19 vaccination
- Access to reliable transportation

**Preferred**:

- 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
- Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field

**Our Hiring Process**:

- Resume and cover letter submitted, followed by completion of short screening survey
- Realistic job preview at location, and meeting with the hiring manager

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 16-34 per week

**Salary**: $22.92-$26.87 per hour
