**Summary of the role**:
**What you will do**:

- Assess and research the impact of card association business and technical requirements as well as internal compliance inquiries for each point of sale solution and recommend design and implementation best practices.
- Investigate, assess, monitor and track resolution of reported point of sale production issues as well as represent the Product Development team on compliance related projects.
- Liaise with internal Operational Compliance group as first point of contact for Interac POS Member Audit process.
- Assist with outline and documenting all requirements of assigned solution(s).
- Assist with product release training sessions.
- Deliver quality product enhancements within schedule.
- Recommend new products and enhancements consistent with product goals.
- Implement marketing plans and product positioning in the marketplace.
- Analyze potential sales, pricing alternatives, and revenue forecasts for products.
- Assist in the creation of user documentation.
- Create technical documentation where necessary.
- Recommend improvements to products.
- Provide status reporting to the manager as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**What we’re looking for**:

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Payments experience will be considered a strong asset.
- Ability to follow all company policies and procedures as well as internal departmental procedures to ensure high quality products.
- Ability to investigate and assess issues to make certain the correct solution is implemented.
- Ability to review technical specifications and rewrite as a functional requirements specification.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and to transition quickly from one request to another in an individual or team environment.
- Well developed presentation skills in conveying factual, technical and conceptual information in a manner which is easily understood.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communications and writing skills to communicate clear specifications to internal resources and manage expectations of customers.
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Continuing education attitude to remain up-to-date on changing technologies.
- Able to be both a strong team player and a driven self-starter.
- Bilingual in French and English will be considered a strong asset.
