**Position**:Site Supervisor
**Location**:Nanaimo, BC, and surrounding areas.

**Job Type**:Full-Time (40 hours per week)
**Salary**:$35-45 per hour (based on experience)

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Project Oversight: Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure workmanship and materials meet company standards and client expectations.
- Safety Compliance: Uphold strict safety protocols and regulations on-site, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, providing regular progress updates and addressing any issues or changes.
- Resource Management: Coordinate and manage resources, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, to optimize productivity and minimize project delays.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of on-site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and material/equipment inventory.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential challenges or obstacles and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and specifications, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Continual Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and workflow efficiency to enhance overall project performance and client satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Working knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
