To achieve this, we are looking for talented Health Systems Coordinators to add to our exceptional Paramedic Services team.

Under the general supervision of the Commander, Community Paramedicine, the Health Systems Coordinator provides confidential executive and administrative support to the Commander, Community Paramedicine. The position supports all programs under the Community Paramedicine portfolio through health systems navigation, intake and triage of patient referrals. Uses judgement and considerable discretion to work within broad policy limits defined by the Chief of Paramedic Services to support the department.

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a two (2) year post-secondary diploma in a Healthcare discipline or a related field;
- A minimum of one (1) year of confidential administrative experience in a similar organizational setting;
- Understanding of Community Paramedicine framework and the interagency relationships across multi-discipline healthcare and social services;
- Thorough knowledge and experience with the Ambulance Act and the Employment Standards Act (ESA) is an asset;
- Supervisory experience is an asset;
- Experience and confidence in directing workforce;
- Understanding of emergency services specific requirements both locally and provincially, specific to best practices;
- Demonstrates organizational understanding and leadership;
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills in dealing with public, staff, stakeholders and political partners;
- Ability to communicate in both French and English is considered an asset;
- Flexibility of hours and location of work may be required;
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license (class G or higher) with no greater than 6 demerit points and a reliable and insured vehicle for use on the job.

**Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Police Record Check
- Vulnerable Sector, within three (3) months is a requirement.**
