Account Manager/sales

The Account Manager is responsible for acquiring, expanding, and maintaining an assigned territory or corporate accounts, both national and international. This role involves increasing company revenue by generating sales from new and existing customers. To this end, the Account Manager will professionally represent Orion MDI and identify, qualify, and educate clients on Orion MDI products and services. The Account Manager will participate in industry events and develop networks to raise awareness of company offerings and initiate new business ventures with the objectives of increasing market share and exceeding corporate objectives
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Serve as a single-point-of-contact for key accounts; manage all steps of the entire sales cycle: prospect, connect, qualify, present, overcome objectives, close deals, and follow up. Ensuring professional representation while building trusting relations;
- Keep up-to-date records on sales calls, customer contacts and details of meetings in a timely manner in the format required.
- Will exhibit an eagerness for contributing beyond immediate duties and getting the job done.
- A solid understanding of the Oil Field Services Industry.
- Proven experience in organizing sales calls and schedules, and evidence of detailed reporting is required
- Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts; improve client utilization and product/service adoption rates;
- Collaborate with customer contacts, up to and including senior level executives to define current and future needs and provide solutions;
- Promote and maintain the organization’s brand image and identity within the marketplace;
- Develop sales goals for clients, territory, or area; manage all aspects of strategic sales initiatives for the associated assigned clients;
- Provide input and assist in the development of presentations and other marketing collateral;
- Create and conduct in-depth sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value the company’s products/services;
- Identify and resolve risks associated with the delivery and/or provision of customer contracts; manage client expectations throughout the contract;
- Pursue contract renewals;
- Ensure overall client satisfaction;
- Manage conflicts to the highest value of ongoing business;
- Analyze, assess, and document client results to ensure customer needs are being met;
- Promote awareness of new products and services to accounts.

**Physical Demands and Working Conditions**:
- Frequent sitting, bending, twisting and standing;
- Attend meetings in office and at client sites
**Educations, Certificates, Licenses and Registrations**:
- Post-secondary education preferred;
- Valid drivers’ licence
**Qualifications**:
- Machining experience required;
- Minimum 5 years of direct-selling and account management experience;
- Must be able to travel occasionally through Western Canada;
- Must be able to travel
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
