**Sales Representative**

Hot Tub Wholesale is one of the largest volume hot tub and swim spa retail stores in Central Alberta selling quality Canadian-made Hot Tubs & Swim Spas.

**Position Summary**:
As a Sales Consultant you are responsible for selling hot tubs, swim spas and parts through a retail showroom. You will provide a high level of customer service to existing and potential customers, reaching sales targets through excellent sales and communication skills and lead follow-through. This position will also assist with marketing and advertising concepts, store merchandising and events. Integrity, vision, drive, professionalism, and passion are key components to this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner while building rapport.
- Initiate relationships with new and existing consumers to educate them on the products & services available to them with the goal of closing sales.
- Engage the consumers into a conversation and listen carefully to understand the concerns of the consumers and determine their needs.
- Maximize store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Build customer relationships by providing prompt and exceptional sales and after-sales service.
- Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about goods or services.
- Handle all incoming leads in a timely manner.
- Work with store management and the team to achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals and targets.
- Assess customer needs and offer solutions.
- Maximize store and personal profitability through suggestive selling, add-on sales techniques, and a strong closing rate.
- Complete the customer experience by suggesting value-added, related items.
- Prepare and administer sales agreements and maintain customer records.
- Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Ensure customer concerns are resolved with urgency and good judgment.

**Other Duties& Responsibilities**
- Assist in driving merchandising directives and standards to achieve financial targets.
- Stay knowledgeable about the products, services, promotions, and policies and share this knowledge with the team.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Desired Competencies & Qualifications**:

- Retail sales experience of big-ticket items (such as hot tubs, pools, cars, furniture, T.V.s, HVAC, windows, etc.) is a definite asset.
- Spa/hot tub and pool knowledge (Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing)
- Knowledge of water chemistry and hot tub chemicals is a plus

**We offer a competitive salary and commission structure.**

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Signing bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Red Deer, AB T4N 4L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
