**About Us**:
Two Rivers Specialty Meats is a rapidly growing food business. We are a purveyor of fine meats that are free of antibiotics, hormones and chemical feed additives. In addition, to providing the finest protein products available, our goal is to strengthen the connection between producers and consumers. We want to foster a deep understanding amongst chefs, retailers, restaurants and consumers and the local farms that provide our products. We believe that people should know where their food is coming from, and that it was produced ethically and naturally.

**Key Responsibilities As Receiver**:

- Maintain a safe and hygienic work area for you and your coworkers
- Consistent communication with our Purchasing department
- Greet & communicate effectively with our Suppliers as to the requirements of each delivery
- Oversee and maintain the day to day operation of the ‘Receiving cooler’
- Communicate effectively from one shift to the next, sharing key information regarding the day’s tasks
- Accurately enter product shipments into our online inventory detail system
- Accurate & consistent Bin location assignment
- Learn from and be respectful of all coworkers

**Tasks**:

- Meet & greet our Suppliers as they arrive with our shipments before they unload
- Prepare and communicate status of daily Receiving at AM Roundup
- Perform temperature checks on product & vehicle every time a Supplier lands on our dock
- Communicate consistently with our ‘purchasing team’ regarding any discrepancies on the PO’s
- Daily cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, recycling, taking out garbage)
- Daily monitoring of our blown bag shelf, always ensure proper bins are in place
- Daily stock rotation, checking ‘freeze by dates’ and freezing accordingly
- Stock rotation in preparation for incoming deliveries
- Daily monitoring & maintenance of our cooler & freezer Tag shelves
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Meets the physical requirements of the job, repeatedly lifting and stacking boxes weighing up to 60-70lbs
- Great attention to detail, organization and cleanliness
- Excellent Food-Safe and food handling knowledge
- Strong work ethic combined with the ability to lead others and work independently, quickly and efficiently

**Key Responsibilities As Driver**:

- Part - time position delivery driver
- Be the face of Two Rivers with our customers
- Organize and load orders on truck
- Ensure product is kept at ideal temperatures at all times
- Communicate with Sales Team to ensure customers are satisfied
- Ensure all invoices are signed by customers and returned to the office for company records
- Provide special care in delivering time sensitive products
- Perform daily vehicle inspection such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
- Notify supervisor about any major repair and maintenance immediately

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record and display good driving habits
- Must be physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack and carry boxes weighing up to 60lbs
- They are thoughtful, resourceful and comfortable interacting with the general public
- They will have the maturity and good judgment to make appropriate decisions within assigned responsibilities.
- Superior people skills: Professional appearance, strong interpersonal skills and good oral communication with a command of the English language.
- Positive attitude - passionate about providing good customer service
- Passion for food and beverage - experience in the food service industry would be an asset.
- Interact at a high level of professionalism with clients and colleagues to build and maintain positive, supportive relationships.
- Work effectively in a sometimes demanding environment while demonstrating a strong service orientation.
- Work quickly and handle tasks and assignments with thoroughness and accuracy, giving careful attention to priorities.
- A superior work ethic based on principles of honesty and trust.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
