As we continue to grow, we're seeking a passionate Gourmet Pizza Chef with strong leadership skills to join our team and help lead our kitchen to new heights.
- **Responsibilities**_:
- Lead the pizza kitchen team in all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
- Develop and refine gourmet pizza recipes that showcase creativity, quality ingredients, and unique flavour combinations.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering ingredients, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus, specials, and promotions.
- Manage kitchen expenses to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- **Requirements**_:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or pizzeria.
- Extensive knowledge of pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Creative culinary vision with a passion for experimenting with new flavours and ingredients.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Understanding of food cost control and kitchen management best practices.
- Food safety certification is mandatory.

Approximate operating hours
- Thursday 3 - 7:30 (June, July, August only)
- Friday 1 - 8:30
- Saturday 1 - 8:30
- Sunday 1 - 4:30
- One other day for ordering, organizing, prepping, etc.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
