The workforce consists of teachers, office staff, custodial staff, education assistants and professional staff. We currently have a opportunity for a Long Term Occasional SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT (EA). This position is for the AM, but there may be some flexibility.

Supporting students with special needs including physical and development needs (e.g. ASD, DD, CP, Down Syndrome). Special needs students may also require support with behavioural needs. Duties may include toileting, lifting, transferring, feeding, dressing and personal hygiene.

All EA assignments are Level 3 unless otherwise noted.

LTOs $24.67 per hour (plus vacation pay) and benefits for LTOs over four (4) months (starting from the beginning of the LTO)

The Board shall undertake to hire Employees with appropriate post-secondary education and directly related experience. Suggested appropriate qualifications include:
