**IT Analyst (summer student/4-month term)**

Alberta Innovates (AI) is seeking an IT Analyst to support our IT projects for a 4-month term over the summer. The successful incumbent will be engaging with IT team members and stakeholders within AI and will provide integral support in the achievement of the IT team’s goals.

**Job Details**

Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, the IT Analyst will support projects supporting the IT team as assigned. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Technology Support
- Supporting the deployment of IT equipment (computers, monitors, servers, switches, etc.)
- Support the virtual management and configuration of computers
- Respond to IT support requests and tickets.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions
- End user training
- Video Conferencing support
- System Development and Support
- Support the development of an Asset\Inventory Management system
- Application and System testing including developing Test scripts and providing feedback
- Support development and enhancements to PowerApps (built on Microsoft Power Platform)
- Project Support
- Support development of project documentation, schedules, milestones, and roadmaps
- Support project related activities
- Contributing to achievement of project milestones
- Monitoring and tracking project progress
- Process Improvements
- Communicating any identified obstacles, challenges, or issues to IT team & Executive Director

**Qualifications and skills we are looking for**:

- Project Management or coordination experience: communication, scheduling, and reporting
- Experience with computer hardware (computers, monitors, docking stations, etc.) and peripherals (printers, webcams, headsets, etc.) and basic desktop configuration
- Self-starter who is passionate about technology and it’s uses to improve business operations
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change
