Four Counties Addiction Services Team (Fourcast) is a community-based addiction treatment service provider that strives to provide the highest quality of evidence-based addiction treatment and case management services. Fourcast offers services across 5 sites in the region. The community treatment program staff work in-office and community settings and are often co-located and integrated with other organizations to reduce barriers for those accessing services.

**About The Position...**

**This is a permanent full contract position for 12mths Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm**

Reporting to the Program Manager - Residential Programs, the Intake Coordinator will be the first point of contact for those seeking admission to Fourcast’s residential programs, consisting of a 6-bed residential addiction treatment program and a 6- bed residential withdrawal management program.

Fourcast’s 5-week Intensive Residential/Day Program supports service users to explore their goals related to substance use and related concerns. The Program includes a structured, scheduled program of treatment activities seven days per week while the individual resides at Fourcast residential treatment site or in their home setting. The program will assist individuals to develop skills to manage substance use and related problems.

Fourcast’s residential withdrawal management service provides a safe environment for service users as they experience withdrawal symptoms related to substance use; ensuring a calm, respectful and supportive environment as service users undertake the difficult work of moving forward in their recovery journeys.

The Intake Coordinator will have exceptional organizational and customer service skills to respond to inquiries, process all intakes-admissions in accordance with provincially established eligibility criteria and manage waitlists in compliance with provincial standards. You will promote collaboration across Fourcast’s residential and community treatment teams for integrated service delivery and appropriate system navigation for local service users.

**What We're Looking For**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, or related degree, with a postgraduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in a related position preferred, ideally in a residential addiction or residential withdrawal management setting.
- Advanced skills in addictions interventions including counselling/therapy, withdrawal management, crisis intervention, advocacy, mediation, and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated experience in a complex customer service, client service response environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with people with serious mental illness and complex personal needs.
- Experience using evidence-based screening and assessment tools.

Certificate, Licenses and Records
- Valid First Aid/CPR.
- Certification in Auricular Acupuncture
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certificate.
- Certification in GAIN assessment would be an asset.
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) an asset.
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
- Ontario’s Food safety course certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $32.86-$38.47 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
