Position Summary: To purchase raw materials from customer approved vendors, monitor purchase orders status, plan and bring in daily needed materials from our external 3PL warehouses to our plant. Work closely with customer and their external vendors to secure the raw materials supply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review materials demands and place PO within the specific timeline;
- Manage materials inventory, avoid shortage to production, and to achieve the best inventory turnover;
- Update certain level SAP MRP data (MRP 1 and MRP 2)
- Monitor open PO report daily, expedite and escalate inbound shipments with potential risk of delay;
- Review aging inventory weekly to avoid scrap and write off of ingredients;
- Monitor on hold raw materials status and takes actions to clean up hold memo in time;
- Support vendor’s logistics team and their carriers with any inbound shipment related issues;
- Coordinate RMA return;
- Act as a liaison between our US based vendors and our Canadian customs clearance broker;
- Other tasks as assigned.
- File MDR in customer’s portal to escalate supply risk and freight related risks;
- Monitor the materials demands in customer’s system and in HFS SAP system, capture errors that may affect production or cause excess inventory;
- Participate planning meeting with supply planner and production scheduler

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of consumer product industry’s supply chain / procurement/ Logistics experience;
- University degree or college diploma in business or supply chain related discipline;
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and SAP.
- High level of organizational skills and detail orientation;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;

- Utilize ‘best in class’ behaviors with focus on safety, quality, and policy focus
