Hearthstone by the Lake, a retirement condominium in Burlington, nestled along the shores of Lake Ontario, offers a variety of services and programs to those who call Hearthstone home. Due to a pending retirement, we currently have an opportunity for a General Manager, Club Operations, to lead a dedicated team providing exceptional services to condominium residents.

**Daily Responsibilities of a Hearthstone Club General Manager**
- The General Manager, Club Operations is responsible for the overall operations within the Hearthstone Club;
- Ensure the provision of quality care and services to meet the requirements of our contractual agreement with the condominium corporation;
- Adhere to approved operating and capital budgets;
- Develop and support the management team and front-line staff;
- The General Manager, Club Operations will lead the incremental sales strategies and collaborate with the management team to successfully achieve revenue goals, determine staffing requirements, and support the recruitment process;
- High operating standards will be achieved by ensuring policies, programs and procedures are carried out consistently and accurately across departments to result in a high level of resident satisfaction.

- Successful completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or Hospitality Sector experience.
- 5 - 10 years of successful hands-on management experience in senior residential, home-care setting or hospitality setting, with experience in selling additional personal a la carte services.
- Demonstrates strong business management skills and strong financial acumen including maintaining and growing financial revenues and expense control for the company.
- Ability to demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Have a passion for delivering service excellence with knowledge of community resources to enhance service development.
- Demonstrated willingness to work independently and be motivated by self
- direction.
- Proven skills to build and lead a management team and front-line staff with passion and integrity.
