**Company Background**

Since 1999, Pestalto Environmental Health Services Inc. has been providing mosquito control services to health units and municipalities across Ontario to control mosquito populations and limit the spread of West Nile virus. Pestalto's mission is to prevent the transmission of West Nile virus and the development of mosquitoes that are capable of carrying the virus that often come from water situated on Municipal lands or in catch basins. Pestalto is an environmental company who specializes in reducing the impact of vector borne diseases that are transmitted by mosquitoes. Environmental preservation and conservation are of great importance. Pestalto is a **COR Certified **company who makes Health and Safety a top priority.

**Positions available**: Pestalto is currently hiring full time seasonal staff for contracts in the City of Hamilton, Waterloo Region, Niagara Region, Windsor Essex.

**Term of Employment**:Week of May 27th, 2024 to August 30th, 2024. Staff will work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

**Compensation**:Starting at $18.00 /hour with possibility of incentive pay

**Qualifications**:
While a background in Public Health, Entomology, Environmental, Health Sciences, and Biology studies or with previous work experience would be considered an asset, all applicants will be considered.

**Education and training**

Pestalto Environmental Health Services is committed to the prevention of accident loss to its resources, both human and physical.
