Call Taker

**About the Position**:
The Dedicated Customer Service is a full time and permanent position with our team, as an in-office position Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. This position will be reporting to the Customer Service Manager, and is responsible for responding to client inquiries and requests by providing information relating to the delivery and cargo of client items.

**Responsibilities**:

- Keeping records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments as well as actions taken.
- Entering Pick Up and Trace information.
- Track shipments for dedicated and non dedicated accounts.
- Reviewing freight information and supply customer with information related to shipments
- Documenting preprint requests for customers
- Filling supply orders for customers.
- Obtaining information and updates to support client inquiries and to solve and discrepancies.
- Other relevant duties as required

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- 1 year minimum Customer Service experience required.
- High School diploma required.
- Experience in Courier industry is an asset.

**Competencies**:

- Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionally always.
- Quick learner
- Conscientious with strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight time constraints.
- Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
