**Position Overview**:
We have an immediate opening for a passionate Youth Worker who will play a crucial role in supervising and coordinating group activities for youth ages 6-18. This includes facilitating sports, arts and crafts, and other vital activities that enrich our youth's lives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate group activities like sports, arts and crafts, and other programs promoting holistic growth for youth.
- Uphold a secure environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of our youth.
- Collaborate in preparing and organizing activities tailored to each group's needs.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with both youth and their parents, ensuring their concerns and feedback are addressed.
- Work collaboratively with the broader team to ensure the success of our programs.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in working with youth is a significant advantage.
- Valid Driver’s License with no major violations. Must pass a Department of Motor Vehicles background check.
- Completion of a pre-employment background check.
- Excellent communication skills, especially with youth and parents.
- Collaborative team player.
- Must pass a drug screen and the Edmonton, AB state-required physical exam.
- Valid CPR certification or the commitment to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 10-48 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
