The Village of Hay Lakes Municipal Library Board is seeking a Library Manager to provide leadership in a vibrant and evolving community library. The position offers an opportunity to consolidate traditional librarian responsibilities with service to the community, especially youth and families. The Library Manager reports to the Library Board and is guided by the plan of service, policies, and regulations as set by the Executive Board.
- A broad understanding of library principles and practices.
- Experience in staff management, finance and working with a Board.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience leading a team and work with volunteer and community partners.
- Desire to develop community partnerships
- Manage and use applicable computer technologies
- Love of reading

Hours are 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, with an opportunity for more as our library expands.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
