**About Us**:
Clinical Research of Ontario (CRON) is a privately-owned clinical research site dedicated to providing members of our community with the opportunity to participate in high-quality clinical trials ranging from phase I-IV. Our studies are sponsored by pharmaceutical companies, so all study-related costs are covered. Our Principal Investigators (PI) and Sub Investigators (SI) are board-certified physicians with many years of experience. They work very closely with our Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC), who have the full knowledge and expertise of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), clinical trial processes, guidelines and regulations. Our highly-qualified team of PI's, SI's and CRC's are committed to ensuring that our practice has the greatest impact on patient safety to benefit the thousands of affected patients worldwide.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients with precision and compassion.
- Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling of blood specimens.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection.
- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment.
- Record and document relevant information related to specimen collection.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and research staff.
- Participate in quality control measures to ensure specimen integrity.
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a phlebotomist in a clinical setting.
- Certification in Phlebotomy required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of relevant safety and infection control procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
