**Position: Senior Project Manager**

**Location: Guleph ON**

**Duration: 12 + months**

Main responsibilities:

- Project planning, including defining the project goals, objectives and deliverables, scope, budget, resource requirements, project tasks and timelines.
- Project management including executing the project plan, resource management, monitoring and communicating status, monitoring and mitigating risk and changes, assuming responsibility for scope, time and cost management, development of lessons learned throughout the projects.
- Follow agreed upon organizational change management processes to identify, document, review, approve, prioritize, communicate, and implement all changes.
- Follow the PMO standards, best practices, templates, and tools in regard to project management, change management, and business analysis.
- Coordination of activities when requiring services of other CCS units, others on campus, and vendors.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders across the University, acting as primary liaison between the University and vendors in project planning/execution.
- Report to Management and Sponsors on progress, results and be accountable for success of projects.
- Develop materials required and participation of project steering committees which help guide decision making within the project.
- Where required, acting as an organizational change management coach to senior leaders and executives and providing direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as changes are implemented.

Requirements for the position include:

- Proven track record managing projects using industry standards (such as PMI) to execute in an agile, waterfall or hybrid environment.
- An undergraduate (Master’s degree preferred) in Business, Information Technology or related field plus at least five (5) years’ related change management or project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Project management certification (PMP) or equivalent is required;
- Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is considered an asset;
- Change Practitioner or Change Manager certification is considered an asset (preferably Prosci certification)
- Experience working in the higher education or in a research industry sector is highly valued; must at least have work experience within a complex business environment ;
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, large enterprise-scale projects across multiple and diverse stakeholder groups;
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience utilizing organizational change management principles and approaches;
- Experience in business analysis and design practices;
- Strong leadership and influencing skills;
- Ability to thoroughly assess implications of proposed policy/ processes changes;
- Excellent organizational and planning skills;
- Flexible and able to adapt project planning to meet stakeholder needs;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
- Strong interpersonal, decision making, and teamwork skills as well as a strong client focus;
- Facilitation and conflict resolution skills;
- Demonstrated high creativity, innovation and initiative;
- The ability to coordinate the efforts of many sub-teams (technical, non-technical, internal, external) simultaneously

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $59,031.52-$103,783.65 per year
