- Draft all routine correspondence and prepare

ocuments, based on precedents and sample forms. - Prepare closing documents to complete real estate closings, including statements of adjustment and funds summaries. - Due Diligence - Complete all steps necessary to complete real estate transactions, including review of agreement, noting critical dates, submitting off-title search requests, conducting and reviewing all searches. - Assess and resolve title issues, including analyzing and summarizing registered encumbrances. - Maintain and update all current files and archives in the filing system. - Perform, review and summarize searches of title and off-title due diligence. - Handle complex and/or sensitive situations and multiple simultaneous responsibilities relating to real estate transactions. - Familiarity with corporate/commercial transactions, wills/estate matters, and/or civil litigation would be an asset. - Able to work on mortgage files representing mortgagor and mortgagee. *Requirements:* - A combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent in a real estate law, with particular emphasis on residential transactions and residential mortgages. - A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Clerk within a law firm environment - Ability to handle all aspects of residential real estate (e.g., reviewing and updating title, preparing closing documents and correspondence, submitting and reviewing title and off-title search requests, preparing electronic registration documents, etc.) - Comfortable working with new software and computer systems, have strong organizational and time management skills, and can work under pressure. - Professional communication skills with clients, lawyers and team members - Excellent multi-tasking abilities - Ability to handle multiple closing files per month and adhere to strict deadlines. - Proven ability to manage a large workload volume, competing priorities and demands. - Proficiency in MS Office such as: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. - Willing to use different software such as: Soluno, Teraview, Lawyer Done Deal, and cloud base software. - Ability to work independently, take initiative and follow instructions with mínimal supervision. - Ability to work well within a team environment. Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Benefits:
