**NOTE**: This is a Part-time ( 3 days a week ) Contract position for 12 months.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
Process bi-weekly payrolls for +500 salaried and hourly employees, in a multi-provincial environment.

Partner with other departments to provide and receive payroll information (primarily the Human Resources department).

Review attendance of electronic timesheet data and audits for accuracy of input.

Hire new employees into ADP WFN, perform salary adjustments, modify employees records i.e. address changes, direct deposit information, etc.

Describe ADP attendance procedures to new hires and assist with password resets and login matters.

Enter position transfers, salary and status changes, prepare final pays, etc.

Prepare Records of Employment (ROE) in accordance with Service Canada requirements.

Balance and reconcile payroll totals prior to final transmission.

Participate in developing internal payroll procedures and keep documents up-to-date.

Responsible for all French written payroll communications and French meetings for ADP training.

Participates in internal payroll reviews and improvement of payroll processes.

Assist with T2200 processing.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and correspondence.

Act as back-up for payroll coverage.

Contributor in Payroll and Human Resources various projects.

Produce ad hoc reports required by the business.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Excellent verbal and written communication**: English and French is required.

A diploma program in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources.

Must have experience in the payroll field.

NPI designation is an asset.

Experience with ADP Workforce Now / Workday - strongly preferred.

Strong computer skills (Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).

Intermediate Excel to develop detailed payroll reports and any data manipulation.

Must be able to work within tight deadlines.

Highly organized, able to prioritize and be detail oriented.

Fast-paced environment.

Flex/hybrid - Mississauga office - or remote.

Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate Payroll and year-end deadlines.

DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES

Production, toutes les deux semaines, de la paie de plus de 500 employés, salariés ou payés à l’heure, dans différentes provinces.

Collecte et transmission des renseignements relatifs à la paie en collaboration avec les autres services, principalement celui des Ressources humaines.

Vérification de l’exactitude des données relatives à l’assiduité saisies dans les fiches de présence électroniques.

Participation au processus d’embauche de nouveaux employés relativement au système ADP Workforce Now, mise en œuvre des ajustements salariaux et modifications des renseignements personnels (p. ex., adresse et renseignements sur le dépôt direct).

Explication, aux nouveaux employés, des processus liés à la présence au travail dans le système ADP Workforce Now et assistance relativement à la connexion et à la modification des mots de passe.

Exécution des tâches associées aux mutations, aux changements de salaire et de statut d’employé et à la dernière paie.

Préparation du relevé d’emploi conformément aux exigences de Services Canada.

Vérification et rapprochement des montants totaux avant la transmission de la paie.

Participation à la mise en place des processus internes relatifs à la paie et maintien à jour des documents.

Rédaction de toutes les communications en français relatives à la paie et organisation des séances de formation sur ADP Workforce Now en français.

Participation aux examens internes de la paie et à l’amélioration des processus.

Soutien relatif au traitement des formulaires T2200 - Déclaration des conditions de travail.

Maintien de dossiers actualisés et exacts relativement à la paie.

Exécution d’autres tâches relatives à la paie à titre de remplaçant.

Participation à différents projets des services de la paie et des ressources humaines.

Production des rapports ponctuels exigés par l’entreprise.

COMPÉTENCES RECHERCHÉES

Présenter d’excellentes habiletés de communication à l’oral comme à l’écrit, en anglais et en français.

Posséder un diplôme en comptabilité, en administration des affaires ou en ressources humaines.

Posséder de l’expérience dans le domaine de la paie.

Détenir un titre professionnel de l’Institut national de la paie constitue un atout.

Posséder de l’expérience avec les systèmes ADP Workforce Now et Workday constitue un réel atout.

Posséder d’excellentes connaissances en informatique (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint).

Posséder une connaissance de niveau intermédiaire du logiciel Microsoft Excel afin de produire des rapports de paie détaillés et de traiter les données.

Être en mesure de respecter des échéances serrées.
