**Job Summary**:
The Natural Factors Sales Representative will maximize sales by building positive relationships, selling-in of NF products creating consumer demand and providing exemplary customer service in the natural health food industry, while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven core Values such as Sustainability (people, the planet and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.

**Job Description & Responsibilities**:

- 12 MONTH, TEMPORARY CONTRACT
- Sell Natural Factors products and promotions to health food stores
- Achieve and exceed sales forecasts for all NF products
- Analyze trends in the business, customer and competitive environment to identify sales opportunities, threats, and issues.
- Perform account calls to establish new markets while expanding existing ones, promoting NF products in person or via telephone
- Develop and nurture business relationships with customers and their associated staff
- Open new accounts
- Educate and train retail staff on Natural Factors products and promotions
- Perform account detailing - inventory of store stock for ordering purposes
- Set up and work in-store promotions and demonstrations
- Plan and assist customer with advertising and merchandising
- Co-ordinate and perform in-store demos and special events
- Facilitate orders, credits, returns and special discounts
- Participate in special events, plant tours, and trade shows
- Perform administrative work (photocopy, fax, prepare customer packages, update account files, etc.)
- Submit weekly/monthly territory reports to National Manage
- Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
Technical
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Previous sales experience
- Requires extensive traveling (80% of time spent on sales calls) and working weekends
- Occasional travel by air required
- Retail experience working in Natural Health food industry
- An awareness of natural products - Natural Factors and our competitors
- Ability to identify industry trends
- A keen interest in people, exceptional customer service skills - following through on all customer questions and concerns
- Self-motivated and organized to managed own travel itinerary and expense account
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Confident and outgoing for public speaking engagements
- Team player
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Respect for authority and company policy
- Possess strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) to manage communication and work records
