**Health & Safety Coordinator**
We're looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to help execute all health and safety-related policies, programs, and processes at Maple Site Solutions. The H&S Coordinator will work collaboratively with our operations and site team members and utilize strong knowledge of construction safety to continually advance our robust health & safety culture.

**The Opportunity**
- Oversee the Health & Safety of assigned project construction sites
- Coordinate and conduct site safety orientations, weekly toolbox meetings, site safety inspections and create related reports.
- Monitor employees and ensure they are working in a safe manner, utilizing the proper protective equipment and practices
- Investigate any injuries, accidents, and near misses and identify the causes and recommend required improvements in safety standards
- Complete all accident/incident reports in a timely manner including WSIB and OH&S forms etc. and ensure accidents are properly reported to all appropriate parties
- Lead our Joint health and safety committee
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and enforce Occupational Health & Safety regulations and practices
- Act as a liaison with all stakeholders, including WSIB, management, clients, and workers regarding aspects of health and safety

**Experience**
- 1+ years working with a general contractor or construction management company
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or other related discipline is an asset
- Submit and update Ontario OneCall locates as required
- WSIB certified
- Standard First Aid with CPR A + AED an asset
- Valid driver’s license to travel between the office and work sites as necessary
- Professional safety designation (CSS, CSO, NCSO, CRSP) is an asset
- Strong leadership skills
- Commitment to recognizing and mitigating risks
- Highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Computer proficiency in MS Office including MS Outlook

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
