**MONDAY - FRIDAY, 9AM-3PM**

We are looking for a Building Manager who is familiar with building management duties that include minor repair work and common area cleaning. This is a new strata building.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for overseeing routine maintenance, as well as larger-scale projects at the building;
- Responsible for project management of all facilities projects, including defining deficiencies, contacting contractors on behalf of the strata agent, and overseeing execution;
- Taking waste bins outside
- Coordinates with associates such as construction, their employers and strata agents to ensure communication across departments, to ensure that building's standards are met, and to ensure mínimal disruption to residents and owners;
- Works with strata agent to ensure facilities maintenance costs are both minimized, and maintained within reason;
- Establishes and maintains inventories of supplies provided by BC Strata
- Responsible for management of onsite storage locker security and administration;
- Oversees and updates facilities standards and procedures; ensures safety practices and procedures are adhered to;
- Recommends and implements building bylaws to increase the operation effectiveness and reliability of your role;
- Utilizes property management software and other technologies to advance and streamline processes;
- Keeps emergency response plan updated and current to ensure optimal execution and implementation when necessary;
- Trains employees if needed;
- Performs other related duties as assigned including on call maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Create a continuously updated training manual of building managerial responsibilities at the building

**Cleaning Duties**
- Dust walls, ceilings, exposed light fixtures and exposed piping above 8’
- Wipe clean mailboxes and ledges in the lobby
- Wipe clean with disinfectant light switches and door handles
- Clean entrance door glass on both sides and remove unsightly marks or smudges.
- Dust horizontal surfaces up to a height of 8’
- Vacuum, each floor 1x per 7 days, lobby each day and remove spots where possible
- Wash/dust countertops and horizontal surface of furniture, fixtures and ledges
- Wipe clean all door tracks and frames
- Floor Care_
- Sweep and damp mop hard surface floors with a neutral cleaner
- Thoroughly vacuum high traffic area carpet including walk off mats
- Vacuum hallway floors/mop tile floors
- Garbage/Recycling_
- Ensure garbage room is neat and tidy
- Replace all garbage bags inside waste receptacles (customer to supply)
- Report any large items illegally dumped
- Sweep up any spilled litter or papers
- Take all garbage to garbage bins

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
