**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Adhere to GMPs
- Prep colonized mushroom bags for grow room
- Monitor mushroom growth cycles
- Harvest and package mushrooms
- Discard substrate blocks for compost
- Log daily activities / Record keeping
- Serve customers and fulfill mushroom orders
- Perform daily cleaning duties

**Requirements**:

- Be available to work Mon-Fri from 8am - 4pm
- Be 25 years of age or older with a valid glass G drivers license
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as need
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Health and hygiene consciousness
- Willingness to perform daily cleaning tasks
- Previous experience in a food production facility and/or knowledge of gourmet mushrooms is an asset however not required

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
