**Maintenance Specialist**

JOB Purpose:
Maintains equipment and supplies; facility maintenance; supports production of machined parts and operating efficiency; maintaining quality and safety standards; maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities for equipment.

Job Duties:

- Identifies maintenance and repair issues.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains equipment by completing necessary repairs; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for and scheduling outside services.
- Installs machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishment, using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
- Moves machinery and equipment, using hoists, cranes, forklifts, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
- Assembles and installs equipment
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations and participating in general housekeeping and related programs.
- Shows a visible commitment to safety policies and actively participates in updating policies and procedures to achieve the safest possible working environment.

**Required**:

- 5 years progressive experience in machinery maintenance
- Witten and Verbal Communication in English
- Ability to read and interpret reference materials (drawings, measurements, manuals, etc.)
- Self-Motivated and Willingness to learn and ability to adapt in a changing manufacturing environment
- Participation in and support of internal programs including safety, training, process improvement and cost management
- Physical requirements include ability to lift parts, stand for extended periods of time and dexterity for machine usage
- High school Diploma or equivalent

**Salary**: $32.00-$35.00 per hour

- Leduc, AB T9E 7E4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- millwright: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
