Our mission centers on raising awareness, listening to diverse voices, and engagement through education, advocacy and direct support. **Join Our Team**:
This role offers the opportunity to directly contribute to our mission, You will be engaging in meaningful work that supports the empowerment of Muslim women and girls and fosters collaborative relationships with partners dedicated to equity and justice.

Location: Work from home with some in-person meetings and workshops

Duration: 10 months (with the possibility of extension)

Hours: Approximately 30 hours per month (some evenings and weekends are required for meetings and workshops)

Compensation: $25 per hour, plus $500 mental health coverage.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Workshop Coordination**:Plan and organize workshops, including logistics, scheduling, publicity and participant communication.
- **Board Meetings**: Coordinate Board meetings, including scheduling, venue arrangement, and minute-taking.
- **Partnership Engagement**: Attend meetings with partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration and support project goals.
- **Client Registration**: Manage the registration process for clients enrolling in therapy sessions, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience.
- **Care Package Coordination**: Oversee the delivery of care packages for clients, tailoring contents to meet their needs.
- **Social Media Management**: Administer social media accounts, including content creation to raise awareness and amplify the voices of Muslim women and girls, and engage with our community.

**Qualifications**:

- Passionate about the empowerment of Muslim women and girls and other equity-seeking groups.
- Demonstrable experience in program coordination for a non-profit
- Proficiency in organizational and time management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly resourceful, with the capability to work independently.
- An understanding of intersectionality, basic knowledge of trauma-informed approaches, and good cultural acumen.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and partners.
- Committed to integrity and responsible conduct.
