Sign and Vinyl Production Manager

**Description**

This role requires a high degree of independence, attention to quality and detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, to meet the demands of the events industry.

**Key Responsibilities & Expectations**
- **Large Format Production**:_
- Operate and maintain large format printers and laminators, ensuring top-quality output.
- Manage the production process, from design to final product, to meet client specifications and deadlines.
- **General Fabrication**:_
- Creatively and independently fabricate signs and displays when needed.
- Utilize a variety of tools and materials to construct custom signs and graphics.
- **Proofing & Inventory**:_
- Utilize graphic design skills to show clients proofs and prepare final files for production.
- Keep track of material, supplies, inks and replenish as needed.
- **Installation and Removal**:_
- Expertly install and remove graphics on various surfaces, including floors, windows, walls, vehicles, and other event related surfaces.
- Ensure the safety and quality of all installations.
- **Availability and Flexibility**:_
- Be available to work with a flexible mindset, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, to accommodate event industry schedules.
- Respond well to last-minute production and installation requests and tight deadlines.
- **Travel Requirements**:_
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for on-site installations and removals.
- Travel to job sites as necessary, both locally and out of town.
- **Experience and Learning**:_
- Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in the sign and graphics industry.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, adapt and grow with the company.

**Skills & Assets**
- Proficiency in large format printing technology and related software (e.g. Adobe Suite, Rip Software)
- Strong knowledge of vinyl printing and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on fabrication capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members.
- Working at Heights training an asset, not mandatory.
- A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of the job.

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
