Within Technology and Innovation, the One Government Experience (1GX) Centre of Excellence (COE) branch provides transformational leadership to support and enable the shift to a One Government approach to corporate services across the Government of Alberta including the Independent Legislative Offices (ILO) through managing the implementation and ongoing operations of the enterprise resource planning system.

Within the 1GX COE branch, the Information and Business Excellence team ensures that the master data within 1GX is accurate to ensure that end users are working with the correct information.

**Responsibilities**:
Some of the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
**Using existing 1GX functionality 1GX Master data Management (MDM) Services, Master data is maintained and effectively utilized by relevant stakeholders and clients by**:

- Provisioning of data management for Finance and Human Resources administration.
- Finance focused Master data (e.g., Cost Center creations and updates),
- Finance and Human Resource reporting.
- Working with the Office of the Controller and the Public Service Commission
- Supporting 1GX clients during ministry, divisional or GOA wide reorganizations with a planned approach to ensure staff and operations return to normal as quickly as possible within the 1GX solution.
- Investigating incidents and issues raised and engaging the relevant clients and stakeholders to achieve a clear definition of the problem.
- Completing Service Requests for Master Data.
- Providing support to the Information Excellence leads as required in the delivery projects for Security, Access, Lifecycle Management and Reporting as required.
- Understanding the master data impact.

**Continuous improvement of 1GX MDM, workflow, and replication to support the needs of clients and stakeholders.**
- Identifying system deficiencies, user dissatisfaction, and emerging business and systems requirements and recommending appropriate change initiatives.
- Operationalizing the implementation of new and approved 1GX functionality across Government, including providing advice and support to client ministries and ensuring consistency in processes and practices employed.
