Ganong continues to grow in the fast paced & competitive world of food manufacturing and is currently seeking a Sanitation Program Supervisor.

**Position Summary**:
The Sanitation Program Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of the sanitation program to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedures. They will also develop and monitor the continuity of all sanitation programs across the plant and serve as the technical expert in sanitation, allergen control, and GMPs. The Sanitation Program Supervisor will oversee a team of sanitation employees throughout the facility with a variety of duties.

**Duties**:

- Define appropriate cleaning frequency; based on risk and ensure compliance with scheduling.
- Verify cleaning procedures are defined for all equipment on the Master Sanitation Schedule, ensuring procedures are followed and are effective. Direct involvement with internal and external audits.
- Maintain basic outside premises such as shoveling doorways, removing trash, lawn and flower bed maintenance, etc.
- Manages and Orders Sanitation Inventory
- Manages Program Budget
- Special projects to improve systems as required

**Responsibilities**:

- Effectively manage direct reports and provide direction to team members to ensure sanitation activities are conducted properly
- Work in conjunction with the quality team to manage the swab programs associated with equipment cleaning, allergen cleaning, and environmental management
- Maintain an effective relationship with a contracted chemical supplier to ensure that testing, inventories, proper labeling, and safety are compliant with Ganong and regulatory requirements - ensure program effectiveness through audits, observations, and trends
- Oversight and management of the plant’s pest control program
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities

**Qualifications/Asset Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years in quality/manufacturing/sanitation supervisor roles working in multiple manufacturing environments preferred
- Project management experience an asset
