The Family Program Manager is responsible for the management and supervision of staff who provide support to individuals and families that are accessing the Strengthening the Family Circle Program and Building Better Babies. This position provides leadership and direction to ensure all policies, procedures and protocols are adhered to. They are knowledgeable of the resources and supports available to clients in the community. They demonstrate how build relationships with clients in a caring and non-judgmental manner. They are a team player who contributes to a safe, respectful, and productive work environment for clients, their colleagues, and the community.

**Qualifications**
- Completion or working towards education in Social, Human Services or related field is considered an asset
- 2+ years progressive experience in the social or human services field by leading projects or programming.
- A combination of related education and experience may be considered
- Knowledge and respect for Indigenous Cultures
- Knowledge of community resources
- Knowledge of developments regarding trauma informed care, mental health, addictions, social housing, and vulnerable populations is considered an asset
- Experience with marketing and building community relationships is an asset
- Proficient with using Microsoft Office (word, excel) and social media
- Current First Aid and CPR Level “C” and Safe Food Handling Course
- Completion of Suicide Prevention Certificate or Trauma Informed training or education is considered an asset
- Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record and Child and Family Services Intervention Record Check
- Class 5 driver’s license

This position is 40 hrs per week, is grant funded and starts immediately until March 31, 2025, with potential for extension. The hours of work are normally 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday with some evening and weekend shifts. The wage range is $26.25 - $32.81/hr - to commensurate with education and experience.
