This position will report to the Director of IT, North America and will be responsible for leading the IT function for the St. Jean facility. This is a hands-on role with one direct report. The IT Team Lead provides consultancy to IT projects and business change programs, analyzes complex business and IT requirements, and produces recommendations for improvement. This role has responsibility for the delivery of high-quality IT services and operational support for the St. Jean facility. The IT Team Lead will be heavily involved in the implementation of a new MES system for shop-floor data collection in 2024 and will be primarily responsible for ongoing maintenance and improvement activities post go-live.

**Primary Responsibilities & Activities**

You’ll function as a team leader and project manager for large and intermediate scale projects. Primarily, you’ll propose best practice recommendations to streamline inefficient systems. The goal is to support each business area in the design and implementation of process improvement projects. You will in this position combine functional knowledge and systems understanding to lead process improvement projects, from initiation to implementation, primarily but not limited to the Distribution and Supply Chain area. Responsibilities include determining and tracking project budgets; negotiating vendor contracts; managing contract resources; and working with internal resources to ensure effective project completion.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years’ experience with ERP in a manufacturing organization;
- Must have at least 3 years business analysis and project leadership experience managing business process improvement projects with process redesign and system development content;
- Experience with formal project management methodology preferred;
- At least 3 years’ experience with MES systems;
- Experience with enterprise systems implementations experience a plus;
- Experience with database systems, specifically MS SQL;
- Solid knowledge and experience with the Microsoft365 platform, enterprise networking and general infrastructure. Cisco/Meraki experience a plus;
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or other related degree is required;
- Excellent business process understanding;
- Structured systems / process / organizational analysis methods;
- IT governance control compliance in change design compliance;
- Workload planning;
- Possessing good communication and presentation skills, being detail-oriented and demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills are traits expected for this role.
