Job Statement

We're hiring for a Product Manager Retail to join our Supplier Management Team.

As a Product Manager you will have the unique opportunity to develop growth strategies to support your suppliers' brand portfolio. Effectively ensure the brand's short-term and long-term financial objectives are met. Your entrepreneurial spirit will help identify white spaces in the Retail category and work alongside the marketing as well as the sales team to implement programs to capitalize on those opportunities. You'll be accountable for the supplier relationship, being the voice of your market to all stakeholders and managing the product selection, pricing, channel and marketing strategies through its lifecycle. This is an individual contributor role with plenty of opportunities for your continued learning and development.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage a portfolio of brands.
- Establish and maintain a relationship with the supplier.
- Serve as an advocate for the needs and expectations of our suppliers within the organization and as an advocate of the needs of the organization to our suppliers.
- Define the marketing strategy to create awareness and contribute to realizing the brands’ objectives.
- Responsible for providing the Sales Department with the necessary expertise and tools to sell printed & electronic promotional material, product training, campaigns, and events.
- Conduct the strategic, tactical, and coordination activities necessary to the brand’s success.

**Qualifications**
- University Degree required, with some core marketing experience.
- Experience in the Retail market.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JD Edwards & BI an asset.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong market research and analytical skills.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills. French is an asset.
- The Product Manager Retail, will be required to speak to suppliers across Canada; therefore, English is mandatory
- Ability to take the initiative, think critically, be innovative, and solve problems.
- Team player.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
