Thomson Power Systems, as part of the Regal Rexnord, is looking for a PC Support Technician to provide technical support assist to both internal and external customers and be responsible for responding to service requests, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks. Additionally, the PC Support Technician will assist in maintaining system security and data integrity, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and monitor system performance.

- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone or electronically (tickets)- Educate end-users on how to resolve various hardware and software problems- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions- Stay current with system information, changes and updates- Setup new user hardware/ software- Maintain hardware and software inventory- Clone computer using imaging software; maintain clone images- Provide technical assistance for all printers and scanners- Provide technical assistance to users for network, VPN, web-based portal, and wireless issues.- Escalate incidents to IT Network Administrators, Business Analysts, or Developers when appropriate- Ensure project requirements are met, the scope is managed and milestones deliverables are met- Conduct various reviews and sign/off workshops- Other duties as assigned

Our future PC Support Technician will have a track record of excellent technical and customer service skills, the ability to think analytically and solve problems quickly, as well as the following:
- At least 2 years' experience supporting Windows7/Win10 desktop/laptop PCs and software troubleshooting- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA)- Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs- Experience with basic network commands, printing problems- Excellent customer service and communication skills- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
