Security Manager

**SUMMARY**: Responsible for the efficient functioning of the Casino’s Security operations in accordance with the established policies, procedures and controls.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: include, but are not limited to the following:

- Manage security activities and personnel to ensure department and conduct of all gaming operations are in accordance with BCLC Casino and Community Gaming.

Centre Standards, Policies and Procedures.
- Initiate, coordinate and direct all security functions and related administrative processes.
- Investigate all irregularities immediately.
- Ensure adequate floor security personnel are on duty.
- Establish and maintain an effective Security force for the protection and safety of guests, employees, and facilities.
- Act as a representative of the Casino, interacting with guests, employees, organizations and regulatory bodies in a courteous, professional manner.
- Conduct or supervise all Security Department investigations.
- Facilitate the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled inter-departmental meetings.
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports with exceptional report writing skills.
- Encourage mutual respect, dignity and integrity with all employees, by setting positive examples at all times.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION**:

- Security experience required - Casino Security experience a definite asset
- Minimum 1 year Management experience, preferably in a Union setting
- Gaming Security Officer training through JIBC will be required
- Combination of education/job experience will be considered

**MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY**:

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
