This position is required to work in the Lacombe Central office.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Business Services and follows a framework of established policies, best practices and established records retention and disposition schedule. This work has a direct impact on the ability of staff across AFSC to access, use and organization their information and records in a manner that complies with existing policies, processes and procedures. Business and critical thinking is applied by understanding the transition of paper-based records management to include electronic records management and eventually prepare for a paperless work environment.
What will you be responsible for?
- Conduct basic data entry into company systems and file information using agreed procedures to ensure information is accurate and accessible.
- Conducting quality control checks for imagining and verification regarding Client Records for the Insurance and Income Stabilization product lines.
- Perform Quality Assurance checks for digitized client records
- Completion of ERMA Data Change calls relating to any documents
- Coaching clients on the use of the ERMA and industry best practices in relation to records management
- Assist in the development of procedures and process mapping, and training material
What are we looking for from you?
- Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
- Works under supervision at an elementary level to acquire, organize, protect, and process data to fulfill business objectives.
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve in fast-paced environment
- Understanding of industry best practice digitization process and procedures
- Knowledge of records and information management policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines
- Experience working with ERMA, SharePoint 2013 platform, Kofax, Envoy, scanners, IRIS and ORRS.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma
- Two years of related experience
- Preference may be provided to Records Management experience
