**Legal Assistant Services**

Reporting to the Manager, Legal Assistant Services, the Legal Assistant Services team provides administrative support for a team of lawyers at the Firm, including data entry, report preparation and other associated administrative duties, as described.

This role handles confidential information.

Hours of work are from 9 am to 5 pm. This role is being offered as a hybrid position.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Liaise with internal clients, lawyers and staff on various matters
- Assist with file openings and closings
- Assist with updating client file lists
- Create and/or update ACL profiles
- Maintaining client contact information (CRM)
- Handle incoming mail (quality check digitization), outgoing mail and save into the document management system
- Help prepare courier packages/slips and coordinate with the Business Centre
- Proofread and assist with transferring dockets, as required
- Assist with small copying and scanning jobs
- Prepare expense reports and third party invoices
- Small printing jobs and help coordinate large scan/print/copy jobs with the Copy Centre
- Perform a variety of routine clerical, administrative tasks and special projects, as assigned

**Required Knowledge and Experience**
- Post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program completed or in progress.
- In-depth understanding of business and legal terminology
- Superior computer and typing skills; proficiency in MS Office 2010, Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Pro, digital dictation, Worksite DMS, etc.
