A career with at the Treasury of National Bank of Canada means participating in the sound management of the bank's financing and liquidity. As an associate in the Deposit Solutions team, you will help monitor the overall volume of deposits at the bank and promote optimal pricing to the various business sectors. You will also be called upon to implement several projects to stimulate deposit growth and strengthen the bank's positioning.

In this role, you will be able to use your analytical skills and desire to innovate. You will report directly to the Managing Director and Head of Deposit Solutions and Internal Securitization.

**Your role**:
**_ Analytical Development_**
- Improve the tools in place to ensure a global view of the Bank's deposits
- Monitor deposit pricing practices and market trends
- Conduct benchmarking analysis to optimize the Bank's positioning
- Influence strategic decisions through recommendations

**_ Business Development_**
- In collaboration with the Associate Director, support interactions with the various business sectors to assist them in the negotiation, structuring and integration of new deposits
- Keep abreast of market opportunities in order to contribute to the range of different strategic initiatives
- Maintain lists of current and potential clients and document interactions with them
- Develop and update marketing tools for institutional depositors

**_ Product Development_**
- Participate in the development of internal presentations for committee approval
- Coordinate the integration of new products into internal systems in collaboration with the various business sectors
- Optimize and create periodic processes related to certain deposit products

**Required Skills**:

- Completed Bachelor's degree, related to the industry, and 2 years of relevant experience or completed Master's degree, related to the industry
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Knowledge of the fixed income business
- Knowledge of banking products, primarily deposits
- Programming and database management skills
- Analytical skills and strong desire to learn
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Focused on the customer experience
- Rigourous, attention to detail and versatility
- Ability to work on several files at once
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently serve internal and external clients who speak a language other than French
