**Job Title**

Reporting Analyst, Liquidity Measurement

**Primary Responsibilities**

**Liquidity reporting**
- Produce daily/monthly/quarterly liquidity reports for DS Inc., RBC’s largest broker/dealer entity, as well as global derivatives products and other domestic wholesale businesses
- Perform decomposition and analysis of liquidity positions
- Collaborate with front and back office and technology to effect best reporting and explanations of liquidity positions
- Build and conduct liquidity analysis and data integrity controls to effect accurate liquidity measurement

**Projects and change management**:

- Create new analytic capabilities and enhance existing ones to meet the evolving demands of liquidity management
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing and systems development initiatives with IT partners
- Collaborate with stakeholders on the liquidity treatment of new products and assess the impacts on liquidity positions
- Engage in cross-functional and cross-regional projects.

**Must Have**
- Undergraduate degree in commerce/finance
- 2 years+ experience with financial and/or regulatory reporting in financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of bank balance sheets and products
- Understanding of capital markets instruments and operational processes including cash management and settlements

**Nice to Have**
- CPA, CFA, Masters in finance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, thorough and conscientious
- Ability to work in fast paced environment under tight deadlines
- Self-starter, independent
- Collaborative and consultative team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of risk management tools and techniques desired
- Programming skills in VBA Excel and SQL knowledge an asset

**Time Allocation**
- 80% report production and analysis
- 20% report and measurement development, process improvement as well as projects and new initiatives

**Job Summary**

Corporate Treasury Enterprise Liquidity Management - Canada Region provides measurement, reporting and analysis of RBC’s internal and regulatory liquidity risk metrics. The role includes responsibility for timely and accurate production of liquidity metrics, as well as conducting ongoing analysis and forecasting of liquidity positions to aid the management of RBC’s liquidity risk. This role functions in a fast paced, high profile risk area with time sensitive daily deliverables.
