Position Summary:
We are looking for someone with a passion for Operations Leadership for a position in our Dorval Flight Kitchen. If you have strong leadership skills and high-level labour planning experience, this is an opportunity to take your career to the next level. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Transportation Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of our Transport Team which is comprised of several Drivers that work in an extremely time sensitive industry. You will be working with your peers to ensure our goals around safety, security, on-time performance, and efficiency are met. You must be able to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Relevant du gérant des opérations, le superviseur du transport supervise les opérations quotidiennes de notre équipe de transport qui est composée de plusieurs chauffeurs qui travaillent dans une industrie extrêmement sensible au facteur temps. Vous travaillerez avec vos pairs pour vous assurer que nos objectifs en matière de sûreté, de sécurité, de ponctualité et d'efficacité sont atteints. Vous devez être en mesure de travailler sur différents quarts de travail, y compris les soirs, les week-ends et les jours fériés._

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for supervising drivers
- Responsible for employee development and retention
- Responsible for performance evaluation, coaching, counseling, and preparing corrective action for employees and liaises appropriately with HR and other supporting departments.
- Develops, recommends, and implements short and long term goals for the department
- Validates Driver’s daily schedule and confirms operation is executing on the labour plan
- Performs airside ramp safety audits to ensure all relevant SOP’s are being followed
- Ensures that all employees are in compliance with Transport Canada, and YUL Airport Authority security and badging requirements
- Responsible to ensure the fleet is maintained to company standards including regular interior and exterior cleaning
- Responsible for safety, quality, and compliance with airline customer & regulatory requirements as well as company policies and procedures
- Constantly strives to meet or exceed all financial goals related to labour utilization and expenses
- Prepares management reports (ex. Incident reports, labor reports etc.) as required
- Trains and monitors employees on Gate Gourmet standard operating procedures to ensure maximum safety and productivity

- _Élabore, recommande et met en œuvre des objectifs à court et à long terme pour le département_
- _Valide l'horaire quotidien du conducteur et confirme que l'opération s'exécute selon le plan de main-d'œuvre_
- _Effectue des audits de sécurité côté piste pour s'assurer que toutes les SOP pertinentes sont suivies_
- _S'assure que tous les employés se conforment aux exigences de sécurité et de badgeage de Transports Canada et de l'autorité aéroportuaire de YUL_
- _Responsable de s'assurer que la flotte est maintenue aux normes de l'entreprise, y compris le nettoyage régulier intérieur et extérieur_
- _Responsable de la sécurité, de la qualité et de la conformité aux exigences des clients et des réglementations des compagnies aériennes ainsi qu'aux politiques et procédures de l'entreprise_
- _S'efforce constamment d'atteindre ou de dépasser tous les objectifs financiers liés à l'utilisation de la main-d'œuvre et aux dépenses_
- _Prépare les rapports de gestion (ex. rapports d'incident, rapports de main-d'œuvre, etc.) au besoin_
- _Forme et surveille les employés sur les procédures standard de Gate Gourmet pour assurer une sécurité et une productivité maximales_

**Education**:

- Diploma/Degree from accredited post-secondary institution - ideally with a focus on business or operations management - OR High school diploma combined with commensurate supervisory experience.
