**CareCorp Senior Services is a trusted agency company who provides superior healthcare, food services, housekeeping and laundry service to long-term care facilities across BC.**

**We are looking for a Laundry Aide to join our amazing team in one of our beautiful long-term care facilities.**

**Previous experience in a long term care facility or with the senior community is **_**preferred**_ **but not required**

**Position details**:Casual
**Compensation**:$22.58 per hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick up of all soiled Laundry from each House.
- Sort and wash Laundry using approved methods,chemicals and protective equipment.
- Dry Laundry using Commercial dryers.
- Fold laundry and sort to respective carts.
- Label by using electric label maker.
- Wash,sort and re-‐distribute all personal laundry.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work area.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dryers and washing machines.
- Maintain records as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Food Safe certificate
- WHIMS certificate.
- Excellent communication skill
- Cultural education and experience are preferred
