Events Mascot

**MASCOT PERFORMER - Seasonal - Part Time**

The BC Lions are seeking an experienced and energetic mascot performer.

**Position Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain character and always remain professional.
- Interact with kids and fans during events in a positive and exciting way.
- Work with mascot spotter to ensure both fan and mascot safety.
- Appearances may also include but not limited to suite visits, crowd prompts, dancing & various photo opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be available for all BC Lions home games.
- Flexible hours, many community events are scheduled evenings and weekends.
- Expression of a friendly, engaging, enthusiastic & animated personality within a non-speaking role.
- Must be able to improvise and adapt to situations as they occur, while maintaining character. (Had some people who didn’t react well to situations and broke character. Not a good scene)
- Must be comfortable performing in front of large crowds.
- Good physical condition with the ability to withstand the demands of performing in a costume.
- Ability to be self-sufficient and work individually when needed.
- Prior mascot or related experience an asset but not required.
- Must provide a clean criminal record check.
- Valid Drivers license
- Minimum 18 years of age
