Pickering, Canada Gray's Landscaping & Snow Removal Inc. Full time

The AZ/DZ Truck Driver is responsible for the transportation of a variety of heavy equipment, from skidsteers to large excavators. The driver will be required to be flexible and drive a variety of trucks between tri-axle, tri-axle roll off, tandem/triaxle small crane truck and water truck. Positions like, tree water daily, blower truck driver. Must have common knowledge of GTA and surrounding areas. Must have clean driver's abstract.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Keep truck Clean /wash once a week/ Grease Weekly
- Must have ability to drive and load unload bulldozer excavators skid steers /loaders and other various landscaping equipment, for floating.
- Follow MTO regulations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections reports on equipment before use and key communication with any issues related to the vehicle
- Secure loads and special attachments to equipment if required
- Assist with general duties when needed, in order to assist landscape construction projects

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Some college or technical training
- Heavy Equipment knowledge or Operator Trade Certification,
- Must possess a valid AZ/DZ license
- Minimum 3-5 years of driving experience
- Physically fit
- Basic measurement and calculation skills
- Ability to follow safe working procedures and site PPE
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Speak, read, and write English
- Must have a Smart Phone
- Able to work 50 plus hours a week (Saturday’s if needed)

**Work Conditions**:

- Various locations including both residential and commercial landscape construction sites
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Driver will be running loads of soil aggregates in and out of job sites and must have common knowledge of driving on uneven surfaces and drive according to road conditions and load on truck conditions.
- All company trucks and are latest models and /or kept in good condition
- Working hours are 6am -6pm, Monday to Friday, some Saturdays may be required in peak season

**Salary**: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
