With an unrivaled pipeline of projects, the organization is seeking an exceptional individual ready to drive and expand Kindred Works' community engagement efforts, creating lasting impacts and fostering meaningful connections in communities where they build.
Currently, Kindred Works has 17 projects in its active pipeline, including Wexford Heights (Scarborough), Trinity Commons (Uxbridge), Portland Commons (St John, NB) and St. James (Hamilton).
In this newly created role, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying Kindred Works' impact through dynamic and meaningful community engagement. Reporting to the Head of Corporate and External Affairs, this role is responsible for the design and execution of strategic community engagement programs and processes to cultivate lasting and mutually beneficial relationships within the communities Kindred Works serves.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in community outreach and public relations, including community economic development and stakeholder engagement;
- Hold a university degree in social sciences, public policy, communications, or public/media relations;
- Have a proven track record for successfully planning, developing, and leading projects or programs involving diverse stakeholder groups;
- Bring knowledge of the planning and construction industry (_preferred_);
- Possess a strong background in public reporting and are skilled at communicating complex information clearly to a broad audience;
- Are an organized self-starter with exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to effectively engage diverse stakeholder groups;
