Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager, Fund Development establishes and implements the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre’s (CCLC) fundraising strategy designed to secure ongoing revenue for the organization.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Develop, implement and monitor the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre's fund development strategy, capital campaign and corporate sponsorship/giving program
- Maintain an intricate awareness of the work of the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre and an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs
- Develop the annual fund development plan and monitor and report on progress regularly
- Identify and develop ongoing relationships with individual and corporate donors
- Establish fundraising goals and oversee activities designed to achieve those goals
- Develop stewardship and donor recognition programs
- Develop major gift opportunities and develop grant proposals
- Write compelling cases for support aimed at corporate and individual prospects
- Perform community assessments, as they pertain to fund development initiatives
- With support from the Communications department, coordinate fund development campaigns and donor communications, including cases for support
- Research and assess the feasibility of new funding opportunities
- Oversee the performance of the Fund Development Coordinator and volunteers assisting with fund development activities
- Manage the departmental budget
- Contribute to the development of London Cross Cultural Learner Centre as a member of the Management team
- Represent the CCLC at community networking and other events
- Maintain an awareness of the work of London Cross Cultural Learner Centre and understanding of the clients we serve

**Qualifications**
- The minimum level of education required is a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Sales or a related field; CFRE designation considered an asset
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in overseeing successful major fundraising campaigns that meet or exceed their objectives
- Proficient in the principles and practices of fund development, donor engagement and philanthropy
- Ability to communicate, converse and connect effectively across diverse sectors and demographics including funders, donors, government representatives, executive level capital campaign cabinet members, partner organizations, clients, volunteers, etc
- Proficient in composing and/or editing original material including statistical and narrative reports and funding proposals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to think strategically and develop effective project plans to meet strategic objectives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software
- Excellent capacity to prioritize, stay organized and manage change in a deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to work collaboratively and engage others to achieve objectives; ability to work well in an environment that values diversity and inclusion
- Ability to travel when required; ability to work evening and weekends when required

**Remuneration**
- Salary Range $80K - $85K based on qualifications and experience
