Conditions of Employment:

- Overtime may be required. The incumbent will be required to work Sunday shifts.

Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Experience performing clerical and/or administrative support duties in a court or legal related environment.
- Experience creating and maintaining physical and electronic legal file systems.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise judgment and make decisions.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with related legal system stakeholders.
- Effective written communication skills.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a respectful workplace.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently under mínimal supervision.
- Experience dealing with confidential information and using discretion in handling sensitive material.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook or equivalent.

**Desired**:

- Successful completion of a recognized legal secretarial/administrative assistant training program.
- Knowledge of Manitoba Prosecution Service processes or policies relating to Disclosure.

**Duties**:
The Disclosure Clerk is responsible for the preparation of electronic and physical prosecution files, accurate entry of charges, involvements and all investigative material into Prosecutions Information and Scheduling Management System (PRISM), as well as the redaction and preparation of particulars for disclosure using standard office equipment and custom software. Other duties may include mail management, reception duties and the delivery and collection of documents to and from various office locations.
